We're headed to NC for the weekend. First road trip with Caroline (besides going to Centerville). So far so good! We ate dinner with Our friend Emily in Asheville and now we're in the homestretch!

Let's go!

Ever since Caroline was a couple weeks old we have been going for walks nearly everyday. I'm not sure what we'll do when it gets cold!

Lion reunion

Yesterday Anna Rose and I went to the Delta Sigma alumni tea. We were disappointed there weren't more alumni around our age, but it was still nice. It is hard to believe it has been 10 years since I pledged! I was holding Caroline so I couldn't participate in the song, but I got a couple pictures.

2 months

Caroline had her 2 month check-up Monday. She weighs 11 lbs 9 oz (75th percentile) and is 24" long (90th percentile). She had to have 6 vaccines- 5 shots and one oral- but still gave me some smiles when we came home.

Caroline has been smiling for a couple of weeks now! Sometimes it is just a little smile... others are huge grins! It is hard to believe she is 8 weeks old!

After lots of half smiles and almost smiles, I got a genuine smile today! Happy 6 weeks at home, Caroline!

Anniversary brunch

We took a weekend-long childbirth class our anniversary weekend, and had intended to celebrate the next weekend in NC. Then the dr gave us a no-go on our travel plans, telling us to stay put in Nashville until delivery. So we finally celebrated anniversary #5 today after church with a delicious brunch at Margot. Yum!

Williamson County Fair

Yesterday's Groupon was to the Williamson Co fair, so we met the Parnells and went together. Much fun was had by all, but especially by Andrew!

Woah!

Since December

Well... we hosted the Williams for Christmas in Atlanta (first time I've been "home" for Christmas since 2003!) went to Haiti, announced that we were pregnant, I went on the jr class trip to NY, we visited the Hendrixes in OK, we celebrated Nana's 85th birthday in Nashville, I went in a girls' trip to Knoxville, found out at the end of March that we were having a girl,  spent spring break with the Hendrixrs in FL and Atlanta, celebrated Jessi Brimm's wedding in Nashville and my cousin Nathan's wedding in Chattanooga, Doug wrapped up student teaching and launched a huge job search, Doug received his second master's degree AND a job offer from Lipscomb Academy, lovely ladies hosted 3 baby showers for us, we had a Memorial Day weekend trip to FL with my family, we moved to Nashville at the end of June and today I am 38 weeks pregnant. What a busy few months!
