10 years?

Tomorrow morning we go to NC to visit Doug's family and attend my 10th high school reunion.

Saturday night

This past Saturday we invited three Lipscomb friends who now live in Atlanta over for supper. Eryn and her husband, David, Ashley (her husband was in TN), Holly, Shawn, and their two cute boys came over. Fun was had by all :)

Busy weekend

The last few days have been filled with lots of church-related activities...

Thursday night I went over to help out with the preemie quadruplets. They are all so tiny! There are some pictures on their blog you can see here: http://osebabies.blogspot.com/

Saturday morning was a Time2$ave coupon workshop at church.

Saturday evening there was a fish fry to benefit NETworks Cooperative Ministry.

Sunday afternoon was the Walk for Honduras to benefit Predisan.

And finally, Sunday night was small group.

A busy, but fun and fulfilling few days!

Terre

Terre Conner, the wife of our dear CBC director, Denis, went home to God last night. She had cancer for nearly 12 years. Here is a song that she wrote and the Brooks Avenue praise team came to sing at their house a few weeks ago.

Terre was an incredible example of faith. She will be missed!

This summer was my 15th year in a row at CBC. Doug has been going longer than me, but he has missed a few years. Every Saturday morning, we get a warning message from Geoff:

little update

-We've been back in Atlanta for 2.5 weeks
-School started this Monday
-Doug's orientation at Mercer is next Monday
-STILL NO INTERNET AT THE HOUSE (I am NOT happy with AT&T)
